Philips Airfryer on our Christmas list

The last post about the Philips Airfryer is not about the food! One of the things I found a challenge was the cleaning; remember I mentioned that the Airfryer collects the fat that from the meals that you cook. Great news, you don’t consume it, but bad news…. you need to clean the appliance.

The instruction is to soak the containers in hot soapy water and clean them out and for the most part this is correct and works a dream. But you need to bear in mind that long term use is going to require a bit of elbow grease!
The good news is that if you know to not only soak and wash in hot soapy water but to give it a little extra elbow grease at each washing, it will be a lot easier to maintain.
As I mentioned in the last post, there is no need to be daunted by this amazing appliance as there is an App which gives you all the help and advice you need. I did find this great video about cleaning and maintenance a few hours after the appliance was collected after the review!
All in all this is a great appliance which helps you to achieve a life style and it’s definitely on our Christmas list. I am not a baker and so didn’t try anything while we had the Philips Airfryer, but there is definitely room for experimenting when we have our very own one!
